Purpose
This SOP explains why the "Please Enter Start KM First Before Reach KM" validation message appears and how to resolve it.
This validation is commonly seen during the RSA (Road Side Assistance) Complaint & Concern Management (CCM) Process when KM details are being updated. Or other document were km reading is required .
The system requires the Start KM to be recorded before entering the Reach KM. This helps track the actual travel distance covered by the RSA executive and maintains accurate service records.
Validation Message
While updating KM details, the system may display the following message:
Please Enter Start KM First Before Reach KM
This validation prevents users from entering Reach KM before entering the Start KM.
What are Start KM and Reach KM?
Start KM
Start KM is the vehicle odometer reading recorded when the RSA executive starts the journey.
Reach KM
Reach KM is the vehicle odometer reading recorded when the RSA executive reaches the customer's location.
Both values are required in sequence.
Why Does This Validation Appear?
The validation appears when:
Since the system calculates distance based on these readings, Start KM must always be captured first.

KM Details
Start KM = Blank
Reach KM = 8654
Result
Please Enter Start KM First Before Reach KM
The record cannot be saved.
Example of Valid Entry
KM Details
Start KM = 8600
Reach KM = 8654
Result
✅ Record Saved Successfully
✅ Validation Removed
Important Note
This validation is part of the Complaint & Concern Management (CCM) Process for RSA and ensures that KM readings are recorded in the correct sequence.
