or

Please Enter a Valid Item Code

or

Code Not Exists

This indicates that the entered code is not available in the system.


Why Does This Validation Appear?

The validation appears when:

  • A Model Code or item Code is typed manually.
  • The entered code does not exist in the system.
  • The code was not selected from the dropdown list.
  • An incorrect or incomplete code has been entered.

The system validates the code against the available master records. If the code is not found, the record cannot be saved.

Resolution Steps

Step 1: Locate the Model Code / Item Code Field

Navigate to the section containing:

Model Code or Item Code

field.


Step 2: Check the Entered Value

Verify whether the code has been entered manually.

If the code is not available in the system, the validation will appear.


Step 3: Open the Dropdown List

Click the dropdown available in the Model Code / Item Code field.

A list of valid codes will appear.


Step 4: Select the Correct Code

Choose the required Model Code or Item Code from the available list.

AA107ACEA4B027

After selection, related details such as Item Name or Model Name will populate automatically.


Step 5: Verify Auto-Populated Details

Confirm that information such as:

Item Name

Model Name

UOM

Rate

is displayed correctly.

This indicates that a valid code has been selected.


Step 6: Save the Record

After selecting the code from the dropdown:

Save  the document again.

The validation will no longer appear.
