Validation Message

While saving the record, the system may display the following message:

Please Enter Engine/Motor Number Which is Mandatory

This validation indicates that the Engine Number or Motor Number has not been selected.


Why Does This Validation Appear?

The validation appears when:

  • Motor Number is blank.
  • Engine Number is blank.
  • The value has not been selected from the dropdown.
  • Vehicle identification details are incomplete.

Since Engine/Motor Number is required for proper vehicle identification, the system blocks the save operation.

Resolution Steps

Step 1: Locate the Engine/Motor Number Field

Navigate to the vehicle details section.

Locate: Engine Number or Motor Number Field.

Step 2: Open the Dropdown

Click the dropdown available against the Engine/Motor Number field.

Step 3: Select the Correct Number

Choose the correct Engine Number or Motor Number from the available list.

Step 4: Save the Record

After selecting the Engine/Motor Number:

Save the record again.
