Customer Voice is Mandatory In FIR

Validation Message

While saving or submitting the report, the system may display the following message:

Customer Voice is Mandatory

This validation prevents the report from being saved or processed until the customer's complaint or observation is entered.

What is Customer Voice?

Customer Voice is the description of the problem as reported by the customer.

It answers the question:

"What issue did the customer experience with the vehicle?"

The information entered should be based on the customer's actual observation and concern.

Why Does This Validation Appear?

The validation appears when the Customer Voice field is left blank.

Since the Failure Investigation Report is used to analyze and investigate vehicle issues, the customer's complaint must be recorded before the report can be processed.

Without Customer Voice:

  • The actual customer concern is unknown.
  • Failure analysis may be inaccurate.
  • Investigation records remain incomplete.
  • Approval and claim processing may be delayed.

Therefore, the system blocks the save operation.
