Validation Message

While saving the Job Card, initiating FIR, or proceeding with the claim process, the system may display the following message:

If "Bill To" is set to Warranty, Goodwill, or AMC for any Service or Part, please select both Customer Complaint and Fault

This validation prevents further processing until the required complaint information is entered.

Why Does This Validation Appear?

For claim-related repairs such as:

Warranty

Goodwill

AMC

the system requires a proper linkage between:

  • Customer Complaint
  • Fault

This information is mandatory because warranty and claim repairs must clearly identify:

What problem the customer reported.

What fault was identified during inspection.

Without these details, the claim cannot be justified and the system blocks further processing.

This validation appears when:

  • Bill To is selected as Warranty.
