How To Generate EV Auto Ordering MSL


Overview

EV Auto Ordering MSL automatically generates a Purchase Order (PO) when the stock of an item falls below its minimum or reorder level defined in the system. It performs a smart stock calculation by considering current stock, pending sales orders, and pending purchase orders before creating the PO.

This helps in maintaining optimum stock levels and ensures parts are available when required. It reduces manual effort in planning and ordering, making the procurement process faster and more efficient. It prevents stock shortages and avoids overstocking, improving overall inventory control.

User Interface



Field To Fill

  1. Apply filters (Branch, Item Group, Class, Moving Type) and select options like Pending SO, Pending PO, and stock conditions.
  2. After clicking Get Data, the system displays low-stock items along with details like Min Qty, Reorder Qty, Total Stock, and Purchase Qty.
  3. In the Order Details section, users must fill Supplier, Employee, Department, and Validity Date, and select items.
  4. Finally, by clicking Generate Purchase Order, the system automatically creates the PO for selected items, ensuring timely stock replenishment.



Filters

  1. Filters help you select and view specific items based on your requirement, such as branch, item group, class, and moving type.
  2. You can also filter items based on cost conditions to narrow down the results.
  3. The system allows you to calculate stock by considering Pending Sales Orders (outgoing) and Pending Purchase Orders (incoming).
  4. Additionally, you can choose to display items whose stock is less than Minimum Quantity or Reorder Quantity, helping you easily identify items that need replenishment.
