EV Vehicle Inward Documents Not Present for This Vehicle

While creating or processing a Job Card, the system may display the following message:

EV Vehicle Inward Documents Not Present for This Vehicle

This validation prevents the Job Card from being processed until an EV Vehicle Inward record has been created for the vehicle.

Why Does This Validation Appear?

The validation appears when:

• A Job Card is being created for a vehicle.
• No EV Vehicle Inward record exists for that vehicle.
• The mandatory inward process has not been completed.

Since vehicle receipt must be recorded before any service activity begins, the system blocks further processing.

Example Scenario

Step 1

A user selects a vehicle and starts creating a Job Card.

Vehicle Selected = DL1PD6992

Step 2

The system checks whether an EV Vehicle Inward record exists for the selected vehicle.

Step 3

No inward record is found.

Result

EV Vehicle Inward Documents Not Present for This Vehicle

The Job Card cannot be processed further.

What is EV Vehicle Inward?

EV Vehicle Inward is the process used to record that the vehicle has arrived at the workshop/service center.

This process captures important details such as:

• Vehicle Information
• Customer Information
• Odometer Reading
• SOC (State of Charge)
• SOH (State of Health)
• Inward Date and Time

The inward document must be created before service operations can begin.

Resolution Steps

Step 1: Create EV Vehicle Inward

Before proceeding with the Job Card, create an EV Vehicle Inward record for the vehicle.

Step 2: Complete the Inward Process

Step 3: Reopen the Job Card

After the EV Vehicle Inward has been created:

• Return to the Job Card screen.
• Select the same vehicle again if required.

Step 4: Continue Job Card Processing

Since the inward record now exists, the system will allow the Job Card to be processed normally.

No additional action is required.
