Vehicle Install Base Tracking for Dealers


INTRODUCTION

What is EV IB Maintenance? EV IB (Install Base) Maintenance is the screen used to view and manage complete vehicle information of customers after booking and delivery. Purpose It helps dealers track vehicle status, registration, RTO process, and insurance details — all in one screen. Who Uses It Sales, service, and planning teams at the dealership use this screen daily to keep customer vehicle records up to date.


SYSTEM NAVIGATION

Follow these steps to open the EV IB Maintenance screen:

Step 1: Log in to the DMS and open the main menu.

Step 2: Navigate to: Electric Vehicle > Planning >Sales >EV IB Maintenance

Step 3: The EV IB Maintenance screen opens. This is the main screen for vehicle tracking.

Step 4: From here, dealers can view, filter, and update all customer vehicle records.



 

SCREEN OVERVIEW

Top: Action buttons — Save, Refresh, IB View, Item View.Left Panel: Filters section to narrow down records.Right Panel: Customer & vehicle details grid.

Get Data: Click after choosing filters to load matching records.

FILTERS SECTION

Branch Select your dealership branch to see only its vehicles .

Model Select a vehicle model (for example,  to filter records . Customer Search for a specific customer by name to view their vehicle details. From Date / To Date Filter records that fall within a chosen date range.
Pending Registration Tick this option to see only vehicles where registration is not yet completed.



CUSTOMER & VEHICLE DETAILS


Customer Information Branch Name – The dealer branch handling the customer. Active Customer Name – The customer who booked the vehicle. Mobile – The customer’s contact number. Model – The vehicle model (e.g., Saarthi).

Chassis No – The vehicle frame number.
Engine No – The vehicle engine number.
Registration Details Registration No – The vehicle’s registration number from RTO. Registration Date – The date the vehicle was registered. Use these columns to quickly check who the customer is and what their vehicle is.



PROCESS STATUS TRACKING

Registration Received Tick when registration documents are received from the customer. Registration Delivered Tick when the completed registration is handed over to the customer. RTO Paid / Received / Delivered Track each stage of the RTO process — payment made, approval received, final docs delivered. Insurance Paid Tick when the customer’s insurance amount is paid. Insurance Received Tick when the insurance policy document is received from the insurer.



HOW TO USE THIS SCREEN

Step 1: Select Filters Choose branch, model, customer, and date range from the left filter panel.

Step 2: Click Get Data Click the Get Data button to load matching customer and vehicle records.

Step 3: Review Records Check the grid for chassis no, engine no, registration status, and other key details.

Step 4: Update Fields Update RTO, Insurance, and Registration status as each step is completed, then click Save.
